Mr. Klender is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Indiana and has been an attorney at Wayne Wright, LLP since 2004. He is also licensed to practice law in the federal courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Southern District of Texas, the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans' Claims.
Mr. Klender is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana and prior to practicing law he served our country in the U.S. Army and Indiana National Guard. Thereafter, he began a 16 year stint as a registered respiratory therapist in healthcare facilities throughout the nation—a venture which helped him acquire a genuine understanding of the difficulties facing those in medical distress.
Mr. Klender received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management (B.S.) from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1995 and in 2001 his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Ohio Northern University School of Law. After graduation, he started practicing law throughout Indiana and during that time began with a general practice handling various misdemeanor criminal cases, family law cases, and also assisted several small businesses with their various legal needs. Soon after, Mr. Klender began working with a firm dedicated to creditor’s rights and Social Security Disability claims. Having handled countless numbers of claimants and gaining a true respect for the disabled, Mr. Klender moved to Texas and joined Wayne Wright, LLP. His primary focus for many years was on federal administrative law such as SSA and VA disability claims. Accordingly, Mr. Klender is a proud member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and the Society of Ethical Attorneys at Law.
When not at work, Mr. Klender enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, whether at home or near the water. He enjoys watching sports, especially football at all levels. He has coached youth football for several seasons and continues to volunteer in the local community.
