Smoke Alarms in every Home, a Wayne Wright charitable campaign
After several fatal home fires in San Antonio, Texas, the community learned that most of these tragic deaths could have been prevented, had the homes been protected by an operable smoke alarm.
Wayne Wright decided that not only could something be done to prevent these fatalities, something would be done, by us.

Wayne Wright LLP is a proud sponsor of Rey Feo, raising scholarship funds for our community. Education is the only priority of the Fey Feo Sholarship, Inc. Its mission is to financially help students so they can obtain a college/university education regardless of race, color or religion.
The Community Justice Program
The Community Justice Program (“CJP”) is a collaborative effort by the entire legal community to provide free neighborhood-based legal services to individuals who may not otherwise have access to the legal system.
The George Strait Team Roping Classic sponsorship.
Wayne Wright LLP is a proud sponsor of the George Strait Team Roping Classic. Between 560 and 600 Team Ropers from across the United States and Canada compete for the lowest scores to qualify for the second day of competition. Those qualifying teams compete in three go rounds the second day. The Team Ropers with the fastest combined times on Saturday win prizes donated by Sponsors. To win the Wayne Wright Red Wrap Steer Challenge the team with the luck of drawing a steer with a Red Wrap around his horns can qualify to win the Red Wrap Steer Challenge. The Wayne Wright Red Wrap Steer Challenge winners receive a cash prize for having the fastest time catching the steer with the red wrap in their go round.
Wayne Wright Lawyers are proud to collaborate with the KIN program on their Speaker Series for the 2010-2011 school year. Wayne Wright Lawyers are taking part in the KIN Speaker Series focusing on Civil Rights. During the week of Jan. 18-21, students will also have an opportunity to win a Wayne Wright Signature Cowboy Hat. This past September, the topic focused on the "Constitution" as it coincided with Constitution Day and Citizenship Day which is celebrated every year on September 17. Wayne Wright Lawyers hosted a contest in the eight (8) participating elementary schools to promote awareness of our Constitution.
KIN Mission Statement:
The Kids' Involvement Network and KIN Challenge programs provide after-school enrichment activities and supervision for elementary and middle school students in a way that will improve their attitudes, grades and behavior so they will be positive members of the school and community.

Wayne Wright is a primary sponsor of the KLRN Kids Club to help its growing program targeting families with children ages 0-6. The KLRN Kids Club has outreach events all year long at local malls, parks, museums and libraries and has attracted more than 60,000 parents and kids over the last 4 years.
Kids can meet their favorite PBS characters at these events and parents can get and share useful information at the different booth that are also provided by various non-profit organizations.

For Wayne Wright, this is not only a way to help contributing to TPR's mission but also for the Child Advocates of San Antonio (CASA) association he's sponsoring.
Child Advocates of San Antonio is a non-profit organization providing support for abused and neglected children. CASA is actively recruiting individuals to act as court-appointed volunteers to advocate for services of these children in safe, permanent homes.

Wayne Wright is a proud sponsor of the SAPLF's Children's book & Author Celebration for the benefit of the Born to Read Initiative. This program, launched in 1996, has been designed to increase young parent's awareness of the importance of reading to their infants. By reading to their newborn, parents can stimulate the babies brains which will make them readers when the time comes.
The program offers classes, printed materials and videos for children of all ages. Building on its success, the SAPLF plans to reach generations to come and has developed partnerships with hospitals and doctors to reach that goal.
