Many of our attorneys and staff members begin their careers at Wayne Wright LLP as an Intake Specialist. Our Intake Specialists answer all incoming calls to our offices. Working under the direction of an attorney, the Intake Specialist conducts fact-finding interviews with prospective clients to determine if the potential case falls within the scope of our practice areas. This position requires heavy client phone contact, the preparation of electronic files, and the ability to think logically.
Prior experience in a personal injury law firm, the insurance industry, or in a high call volume environment is helpful, but not required. All applicants must be outgoing, have a good phone voice, must be computer literate, and must be willing to work in a fast-paced, client-service-oriented environment.
Staff members in our Intake Department have the opportunity to work with everyone in our firm and to learn about our practice areas. Many of our team members transfer from our Intake Department to other positions, departments and offices. Successful Intake Specialists and Team Leaders typically have an advantage over other candidates for Wayne Wright LLP jobs.
We utilize Case Managers in all offices to manage the non-legal aspects of our Personal Injury, Litigation, Social Security Disability and other cases. Our Case Managers assist our attorneys with developing our cases for settlement negotiations, hearings, and trials. The Case Manager is actively involved with the clients and with the attorneys assigned to the case. This position involves heavy client contact, the updating of electronic client files in our case management software, and the ongoing administrative management of the case. Our Case Managers work independently and must be able to multi-task.
Our Case Managers have the unique opportunity to help our attorneys build a case. Our attorneys, supervisors and other staff members mentor our Case Managers so that they continue to learn and develop in their skills and provide better service to our clients.
We hire attorneys to practice personal injury law, social security disability law and all other law related to our practice areas, including wrongful death, premises liability and construction accidents. Experience in these types of law is a plus.
We will consider non-licensed law school graduates for administrative work as an Intake Specialist or Case Manager, prior to licensing. We also have an excellent development program in which we hire attorneys and law school graduates to begin their careers with Wayne Wright LLP as an Intake Team Leader. In this position, we teach our new attorneys the Wayne Wright LLP way and they learn our system and processes. We prefer to hire and promote from within our organization, so when an attorney position becomes available, our qualified attorney Intake Team Leaders are eligible to apply. All attorneys must be computer literate and must be willing to work in a fast-paced, client-service-oriented environment.
